In partnership with Sainsburys, we are once again promoting the importance of regular participation in sport.  Despite being a small school, we are able to offer a wide range of sporting clubs and activities throughout the year.  These sessions run either after school or during enrichment afternoons.  As a school we are passionate on promoting competitive sport both in and oustide of our own school.

Our main goal is to increase the number of sporting opportunities for all children to participate in regardless or ability.

In our school we have an excellent sport's committee who, alongside some of the teachers, will be organising and promoting intra-school competitions in a range of sports throughout the year.  The competition and clubs that will be offered are as follows:

Football (all year groups)

Rugby (Upper School)

Netball (all year groups)

Dance (all year groups)

Cricket (all year groups)

Gymnastics (all year groups)

Basektball (upper school)

Change for Life (all year groups)

Hockey (all year groups)

Multi-Skills (all year groups)

Tennis (all year groups)

Handball (all year groups)

After a rigorous external verification in 2014, our school achieved a Silver Award which recognises how far our school has come in promoting the Sainsbury's School Games.  We are extremely proud of this achievement and hope to again maintain this in this coming academic year.
