Admission to Junior School September 2021

We are very pleased that as from September 2021, we will be able to admit 60 pupils in Year 3.  Our school is currently part of a consultation for this increase, details of which can be found on the ‘Consultation’ tab of our website ‘Admissions’ page.

Under normal circumstances, during Term 2 of the year previous to the admission of your child, we hold tours of our school for prospective parents who would like to take a look.   Of course with the COVID-19 pandemic; very sadly we cannot currently allow visitors to the school but instead are offering a virtual video tour of the school so you can get a feel for whether this is the right school for you and your child.  We do hope you find the video helpful, but of course if you do have any further questions, please contact the school and we would be delighted to assist in any way we can.

The application process for a Year 3 place can be complicated and confusing to parents, so we have tried to simplify this below.

Please read our Admission Arrangements, which also explains how places are ranked and allocated at our school.  Once you have made your decision about which school you would like to apply for, applications for a Year 3 place can be made through the Kent County Council applications on-line.  For those parents who do not have access to the internet, a copy of the application form can be obtained from the school.    NB  We are aware that our Admission Arrangements currently states that we will admit 48 to Year 3 in September, but can confirm that 60 places will be available for September 2021.

For those families who wish to apply for a school place and have other grounds for application (as detailed in our Admission Arrangements under categories a) to f)), you would also need to complete a supplementary admissions form (SIF), which can be found at the back of the Admissions Arrangements for September 2021.  Important Change - Due to the COVID-19 pandemic which is ongoing at this time, the criteria for applying for a school place under category c) Christian Faith, has been amended to reflect the fact that most churches have been closed for public worship for a considerable time.  If you still wish to make an application under this category, please complete and return the SIF to the school by the 15 January 2021.  For applications made under the Christian Faith criteria, your vicar or priest will also need to verify your application by signing the yellow part of the SIF form.

The online application process opens on 5 November 2020 and can be access through the page below:
