Athletics Competition

Our Y5/6 children took part in the Summer Athletics competition at Herne Bay High this week. All children had to complete one running race, one field event and one relay race. All the children persevered in scorching conditions to achieve an amazing Silver Medal for finishing second place. Everyone’s performances counted towards our result but a special mention for star athletes Yvonne and Hamish who won all of their events and formed part of a relay team that won by a 50 metre margin.

 

Mr Wren then added to the medals by coming first in the teachers race!
