Special Screening of Kensuke's Kingdom

On Tuesday, Year 5 went to London to have a screening of Michael Morpugo's Kensuke's Kingdom. We watched the new animation at the BFI and thoroughly enjoyed the adaptation. After lunch, we were so thrilled to have a wonderful talk from Michael Morpurgo and Frank Cottrell-Boyce where they discussed the process of turning a well-loved book into a fantastic film. The children then had the opportunity to ask them questions too! Once we'd finished our talk, we went on a tour of Westminster, 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace too! We even saw the Royal helicopter take off!
