Netball

On Wednesday night, the netballers played their final game of the season. And what a great match it was. Hernhill visited the Endowed and gave them a real challenge. The teams were evenly matched with both sides playing competitive netball. At ¾ time, the Endowed was 8-5 up, but in the last quarter Hernhill pushed on bringing it back to 8-7 with 30 seconds to go. They had a shot on goal, which skimmed the net and George was able to catch the rebound, pass it up the court and away from danger. The whistle blew! The final score an Endowed win by just 1 goal.

On Thursday afternoon the Year 6 B Team and the Year 5 Team went to Herne Bay Juniors to play in a tournament against their equivalent teams. In the bright sunshine, we were able to witness both teams play with pride, passion and plenty of skill. There were many highlights including an amazing strike from Jared, a glorious free kick from Ali Lou and an awesome hat-trick from Sammy. At the culmination of the games, the Year 5 team were crowned as winners having won all their games. Well done to all involved, you should be proud of your efforts.
