On Monday afternoon, the Year 6 B Team and the Year 5 football teams made the short trip to Whitstable Juniors for a couple of derby fixtures. The Year 6 B team fought valiantly against strong opponents, but ultimately lost 6-0. The Year 5 team enjoyed a very closely fought match against their opponents but despite taking an early lead, they succumbed to a 2-3 defeat. Both teams can take heart from their efforts and I was proud with how well they represented the school. Well done everyone.
 

Player of the Season

Well done to Beau in Periwinkles who received the Managers player of the season award on Saturday in his first ever season of football for Herne Bay Harriers.

D-Day Research

Theo in Periwinkle took on some extra research after school learning how the Allies tricked the Nazis in preparation for D-Day and made this brilliant document all about it. Well done Theo.

Half Marathon

Well done to Miss Dooley who ran in her first half marathon in 2 hours and 19 minutes marathon last Sunday!

Demelza Bubblerush Run

Congratulations to Josh W for taking part in the Bubblerush run for Demelza charity. Josh and his little brother managed to raise £100 and both completed the 5km. Well Done boys!
