WORLD BOOK DAY

We had a phizz-whizzing World Book Day on Thursday!

There was beautiful sunshine for a whole school costume parade in the playground followed by an online quiz in class, an assembly with Mrs Blinston Jones, creating Quentin Blake inspired art work and different workshops in each of the classes. Well done to our fantastic costume and participation winners, who won a very apt bar of chocolate and a certificate!

We also got a shout out from World Book Day Illustrator Anita Mangan and had a book sale with Little Green Bookshop after school. On Friday morning the whole school got to enjoy an online event with MC Grammar! We hope the children had fun - well done and thank you to Mrs Blinston Jones for organising a great day.
