Monday 30 March

Hello Otters,

I hope you all enjoyed your weekends. I want to begin this week by wishing Megan a very happy birthday for Saturday. I hope you had a very special day!

Although it was not a typical weekend for me, I did manage to get into the garden on Saturday and mow the lawn. I also spent time trying to find as many different ways as I could to tire my two year old daughter out so that she would sleep properly at night! If you fancy a challenge for the day, try coming up with an idea I could use to tire my daughter out. I would really appreciate any suggestions!

How many of you took part in Joe Wick's PE lesson this morning? If not, you can always do it later today as it's on his Youtube channel for you to do at any time. I would strongly urge all of you to try this or some form of activity for half an hour or more each day.

In case you've forgotten, remember that David Walliams is doing an audio story everyday at the moment and you can listen to them by clicking the following link:

Have a great day everyone, and remember, if you need help with any work you're doing, just email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I possibly can.

See you soon and keep smiling, Mr Baker

Class Exhibition

Last week Donaldson class exhibition took place in the school hall. First, we sang and played recorders and glockenspiels to Mamma Mia by ABBA!

Next, six girls showed the parents some gymnastics and some boys did keepie uppie football – some Dads had a go too!

We had made a Kahoot quiz about Julia Donaldson who is our class author. The parents had to answer questions about her books.

Then finally we sang some Spanish songs. Miss Braid gave raffle tickets to parents who joined in!
