Letting their light shine!

Proud to be you day!

We loved seeing you all dressed in your favourite clothes and expressing yourself and letting your unique lights shine.
The children took part in different activities today, including completing a lightbulb drawing in which they added their proudest achievements and what they would like to aspire to in the future.

CACOT EVENTS AT SWALECLIFFE

This week some of our children have been taking part in CACOT events at Swalecliffe School. On Thursday six Y3 and six Y5 took part in various sports and games on Swalecliffe field, including long distance
running, hockey, javelin, and egg and spoon!

And on Friday morning and afternoon children from different years took part in a CACOT Maths Challenge, with children split into mixed school groups. Well done to Drew and Alice whose group won in their challenge.

Swimming Superstars!

Last Sunday, Jolene and Isla Cattended a swimming competition at the London Aquatica Centre in Stratford. Both girls swam brilliantly gaining medal places; Jolene competed in the 100m fly and came 3rd and Isla also came 3rd in the 50m Back stroke. Well done girls what an amazing achievement.

Keep on Running!

Dahlia in Bumblebee took part in a charity run on Wednesday evening- collecting as much food for the food bank at Tesco's. She was the only child to run in this event and ran an
impressive 3km. There were different groups representing different areas such as Herne Bay and Whitstable. They ran from the Gorrell car park to the Tesco's in Whitstable.
Well done Dahlia!
