Going Wild at Wingham!
Thu 14 Mar 2024Going Wild at Wingham!
Our year 3 trip to Wingham Wildlife Park on Tuesday was a brilliant day out - if a little soggy!
We began with a talk in the Education Centre with Alice who spoke to us about the jungle - the layers of the trees and the millions of creatures you would find there. We compared our hands to a cast of an orangutan's huge hand, handled an eagle's claw and felt the skin of a massive alligator!
We were even lucky enough to visit soon after the birth of two beautiful new babies, a giraffe and a chimp!
Despite the weather, the children were beautifully behaved and had a lot of fun!

Sporting News!
Fri 09 Feb 2024Netball
The Endowed netball squad visited Whitstable Junior School on Wednesday for a joint training session and to play some friendly games ahead of the start of league matches.
Everyone played really well, putting into practice the skills and tactics they have been developing at club, and they all enjoyed playing in competitive and challenging games. It was lovey to see them coming together as a team and playing for, and with each other. Overall, a really useful end enjoyable session. Thanks to WJS for the invite. The Pink and Blue teams won every game, the green a draw and 2 close losses. Well done everyone, overall MVP: George

World Religions Day
Tue 23 Jan 2024World Religions Day
World Religions Day is held worldwide on the 3rd Sunday of January each year. It aims to promote understanding and peace between all religions, as well as mutual understanding and tolerance between peoples from different backgrounds. We think it is important that celebrate and encourage religious diversity, tolerance and understanding at the Endowed. Today, the children spent a day working towards this aim through English, RE, Art and Maths lessons based around religion and world beliefs.
