The application process to apply for a Secondary School place in September 2024, opens on 2 September 2024 and closes at midnight on 31 October 2024. You can apply on line by clicking the link below.

17 March 2025 | Date by which school places should be accepted or declined. If you want your child’s name put on the waiting list for any school you named on the SCAF but were not offered, you should let Kent County Council know by this date.

Secondary School Open Days
Herne Bay High School
Our Open Evening will take place on Wednesday 2nd October from 16.30 until 19.30.
Our Open Mornings will take place on Tuesday 8th, Thursday 10th and Friday 18th October, between 09.00 and 10.15 and will consist of guided tours around the school on a normal operational day.
One of our sixth form team will take small groups of visitors to experience our school whilst lessons are taking place. You do not need to book for any of our open events.
