At The Endowed we want everyone to know that they are loved, cared for and valued. We have joined a creative new approach to building character, emotional health and resilience called HeartSmart.
Boris the robot visited our school with his friend Pete. Boris is made from bits and bobs of recycled rubbish, he plays and important role in HeartSmart. In school we going to be following Boris' story of learning not to listen to the scrapman's voice (who says that he belongs on the scrapheap) and learning to be smart with our hearts instead.

Thank you for all your amazing HeartSmart robots; they have taken over the school! It was so hard to pick just one robot to be our very own Endowed Robot; so we have chosen a family. Our family of school HeartSmart Robots have been given some very important roles. Each one is linked to a Fruit of the Spirit and will be dotted around the school. Children are welcome to sit and have a quiet moment of reflection with them.
Well done to the following children for your amazing creations:
Noah Y3, Matilda & Talua Y6, Dorcas Y3, Daisy Y4, Elliot Y6, Connor Y4, Alice Y5 & Lottie Y3, Bella Y5 and Maddy Y5.
Can you build a robot like Boris? It will become our school's HeartSmart robot and a school emblem. Your robots should be made from recycled materials and be no more than 1m tall. Be creative! House points will be awarded for all entries.
Wow! What an amazing response so far...
Winners will be announced soon!
