We are very proud, here at the Endowed School, of our school food!  Our dinners are cooked freshly on the premises each day by our own cooks, using fresh produce which is sourced from local butchers, bakers and greengrocers.  Our testament to this is that many of the school staff also eat a school lunch, as well as the children.

If you think you may be entitled to free school meals, then please pick up a form from the School Office, as these lunches really are too good to be missed!

Alternatively you may wish to supply a healthy packed lunch for your child. As we are part of Plastic Free School we do ask that you try not to use single use plastic such as cling film, plastic bags, single use bottles/cartons in your child’s packed lunch where possible and do not include chocolate, sweets or fizzy drinks. We are also a nut, passionfruit, blueberry, kiwi, pineapple and hibiscus free school due to severe allergies.

Please ensure all school dinners are booked and selected in advance to avoid food waste. You must allow 24 hours notice to do this, unfortunately if you do not, you may receive a phone call and be asked to bring in a packed lunch for your child.

The three week menu cycle always starts in Week 1 at the start of any new term.

Fruit Tuck Shop

To help combat those mid-morning munchies our Fruit Tuck Shop runs everyday at morning break. Our Year 6 prefects man the tuck shop and sell nice healthy seasonal fruit – all fruit cost only 20p!
