Endowed Fundraising Team

The Endowed Fundraising Team

Role and Purpose

The purpose of the 'Endowed Fundraising Team' is to raise funds to assist in the provision of educational resources and enriching experiences, spending money on things that will benefit the children directly.  There is an endeavour to spend the funds in ways that will benefit all of our children across all areas of the school and curriculum.

Our Endowed Fundraising Team aims to make a difference to each and every child by linking parents and families, pupils, teachers, staff, friends and community members.

How can I be involved?

As a parent or relative of a child at the school you can get involved with our fundraising team in any of the following ways.

  • Offer to help prepare for or run an event! Don’t panic though.. helping once doesn’t commit you for life!
  • Donate! Money, time, expertise.. we know that everyone can contribute in different ways - just do what you can, when you can.
  • Be creative! If you can think of a great way of raising money then we want to hear about it.. even better if you can get stuck in  and make it happen!

If you would like to volunteer your help or services, or have any suggestions for events, please email:

office@whitstable-endowed.kent.sch.uk

Or, just come along to one of our meetings, dates are advertised on our websites calendar and in the school newsletter.

Money Spent so Far!

There have been a number of suggestions from our children about how best to spend the money raised this year and what resources and experiences that enrich our children's education. The children have expressed new outdoor furniture, where they can 'sit and play' in comfort, continue outdoor learning and have communal areas to socialise and play with friends.

It is with great delight to announce the purchase of four outdoor benches which have cost £1366.64. Our annual contribution to the Y6 Leavers Hoodies are waiting delivery and should be with them soon. We are also consulting with the Agents of Change to arrange a whole day learning experience and will let you know the event and date when we have more information.
