ART: Andy Warhol

What is pop art?

Chameleon Class are taking their inspiration from Andy Warhol, a famous artist who helped make Pop Art popular in the 1960s. Pop Art is a bold and eye-catching style that uses bright colours and everyday images. Andy Warhol was one of many artists who created Pop Art, and his work continues to inspire people today.

Collective Worship: Easter Service

This week our year 4 children presented the Easter Story in church worship. We had focused on the four key days: Palm Sunday Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday posing the question Why 'Good Friday'?

The children did an amazing job learning their lines and speaking confidently and clearly. We are really proud of them!

Their art work was beautiful and focused on the four key days. This work was inspired by our class discussions about each of the images shown on the PowerPoint and the events of the traditional Christian Easter story.
