Tales on Moon Lane Bookshop

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, we welcomed Tales on Moon Lane for National Storytelling Week. Tamara read a variety of stories to each class in our lovely library. Children talked about stories they enjoy reading and were guided to others that they might not yet know! We then hosted a book sale after school where children were given a snapshot of fabulous books from the shop. Thank you so much to Tales on Moon Lane for such a wonderful few days.

The Whitstable Museum

On Wednesday Year 3 went on a local trip to The Whitstable Museum. We were met with their fabulous expertise all about local shipwrecks and trading routes. This term we are reading The Wreck of The Zanzibar so we then drew our own yawl ship and spent time learning about how dangerous life was at sea in 1906. Thank you to the museum for a wonderful experience!

Class Art Competition

Caleb, Tom, Henry and Alfie created an Art competition. They organised and ran the whole thing and decidedon each category. They decided the overall winner was Aaron with his creative drawing, but each child got a prize. Well done to all the children that entered!

Y3 Christmas

On Wednesday, Year 3 confidently performed in their nativity showcase, spreading Christmas Cheer and joy to everyone watching with pride. The Year 3 team were very proud!

Beach School

Year 3 had the perfect day for beach school on Tuesday morning. They had a great time learning and playing find, search and match with the different shells and creating art with them.
