HeartSmart

HeartSmart

At The Endowed we want everyone to know that they are loved, cared for and valued. We have joined a creative new approach to building character, emotional health and resilience called HeartSmart.

Boris the robot visited our school with his friend Pete. Boris is made from bits and bobs of recycled rubbish, he plays and important role in HeartSmart. In school we going to be following Boris' story of learning not to listen to the scrapman's voice (who says that he belongs on the scrapheap) and learning to be smart with our hearts instead.

HeartSmart Family

Thank you for all your amazing HeartSmart robots; they have taken over the school! It was so hard to pick just one robot to be our very own Endowed Robot; so we have chosen a family. Our family of school HeartSmart Robots have been given some very important roles. Each one is linked to a Fruit of the Spirit and will be dotted around the school. Children are welcome to sit and have a quiet moment of reflection with them.

Remembrance Day

The Royal British Legion 'Poppy Appeal'

For Remembrance Day today, we arranged a prayer space in the hall. Children were able to do a variety of different activities to think and reflect on remembrance. During the week classes have been working on art projects including remembrance pebbles to create a cross and candles, they also watched a programme in class about Remembrance.

Well done to the worship leaders and Year 6 children who represented the school at the Whitstable War Memorial today.
