Poetry Slam
On Wednesday Macaw class took part in their first poetry slam. Rainforest songs, so far in Year 5 poems and a fabulous adaptation of the three little pigs created a wonderful afternoon. Well done to all the children who took part!

Scholastic Book Fair
The SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR has arrived ready for next week!
Please come along and see Mrs Blinston Jones and the librarians on the following days to buy books at 3.20pm in the school library:
- Monday 30 September
- Tuesday 1 October
- Wednesday 2 October
- Thursday 3 October
You will not need any cash as the book fair payments are all made digitally
STUART HERITAGE AUTHOR VISIT
TUESDAY 15 OCTOBER
We are very excited to be welcoming author Stuart Heritage to school on Tuesday 15 October to talk to Year 3 and 4 children. He will also be signing copies of his books, so if you would like to buy a copy please purchase via the MCAS app before 8 October.
Welcome Back!
We welcomed Laura & Jimmy the dog from Pets for Therapy back this week. Jimmy is a therapy dog who comes in once a week for some of the children to read to him, which they love. He is Laura’s guide dog, so it is lovely for the children to meet him and also learn about how he assists Laura
