Kent Life: Mayan Life

On Thursday Year 4 took a trip to Kent Life open air museum for a Mayan topic day. Our year 4’s spent the day participating in hands-on activities such as sword fighting and weaving. We learnt about religion and Mayan calendars. These activities allowed the year 4’s to connect with the Ancient Mayan civilization. This day has created lasting memories and fostered a love for history learning.
