    Netball

The Endowed netball squad visited Whitstable Junior School on Wednesday for a joint training session and to play some friendly games ahead of the start of league matches.

Everyone played really well, putting into practice the skills and tactics they have been developing at club, and they all enjoyed playing in competitive and challenging games. It was lovey to see them coming together as a team and playing for, and with each other. Overall, a really useful end enjoyable session. Thanks to WJS for the invite. The Pink and Blue teams won every game, the green a draw and 2 close losses. Well done everyone, overall MVP: George

    Football

The Girls Football team played Ospringe in their penultimate league fixture of the season on Tuesday. Despite battling hard, they were up against strong opposition and ultimately lost 6-0.

They can all be proud of their efforts and the fact they kept playing until the very end.

    World Religions Day

World Religions Day is held worldwide on the 3rd Sunday of January each year. It aims to promote understanding and peace between all religions, as well as mutual understanding and tolerance between peoples from different backgrounds. We think it is important that celebrate and encourage religious diversity, tolerance and understanding at the Endowed. Today, the children spent a day working towards this aim through English, RE, Art and Maths lessons based around religion and world beliefs.

    Tales on Moon Lane Bookshop

On Thursday year 4, took a little walk out of school, down Oxford Street to Tales On Moon Lane, a multi-award-winning bookshop. We were greeted by Tamara Macfarlane a celebrated author. We spent a lovely hour listening to stories, hearing about mysterious creatures and mysterious events. We got to have a quick look around at the beautiful displays and at the huge range of children’s books on offer. As classes, we chose two books, the Mysteries of Magic and Dragon World, which we hope to use in our English work later this year.
