Football Tournament
Sun 14 May 20234th Place...A huge well done!
Herne Bay High Football Tournament
On Wednesday afternoon, ten children across year 3 and 4
represented Whitstable Endowed in the Herne Bay High football tournament. First, the children played in a pool against four other schools. They dominated their group by winning three and
drawing in a very competitive game against Swalecliffe. Due to their fantastic results, the children made it through to the
Semi-Finals.
The children held their ground when playing against a year 4 boy team - defending hard for six minutes. Unfortunately, the other team scored during extra time. However, we placed fourth out of fifteen schools, which is a superb result considering the children had never played with each other, and we were a mixed team of boys and girls and year 3's and 4's. I am very proud of their achievement, and they have done Whitstable Endowed proud. Well done!
Miss Galvin.

Netball News!
Sat 13 May 2023Netball News!
On Tuesday night the netballers visited Bysingwood School for their latest league match. What a great performance! Everyone played brilliantly, fabulous passing and attack play, followed by accurate shooting meant they found scoring easy and great defensive
play restricted Bysingwood's opportunities to score.
Final score Endowed 14 Bysingwood 3. Star player : Josh
On Wednesday night our netballers were due to play Ospringe school, unfortunately at the last minute they conceded the game. So having no opponents to play, we decided to play our own
game for our wonderful parents who had come to watch.
We evened up the teams for fairness and played a full match.
The yellow team coming away with an impressive 17-5 victory.

Endowed News!
Fri 05 May 2023Match News!
On Wednesday our Endowed team played a match against Boughton. This was a very tense encounter with end to end action; both sides cancelling each other out. Boughton took the lead, but we equalised. The Endowed improved in each quarter, taking a slender 1 goal lead into quarter 4. Then working as a team they pulled away for a 6-1 win.
Star player Charlie. Next match Bysingwood on Tuesday.
Mrs GilbertTomb raiders
In history, Ladybird Class have been learning about the Ancient Egyptians. Last week they got to experience what it was like entering a tomb and being tomb raiders! They had to use torches in the dark 'tomb' and solve riddles to help open the cartouche!
They wrote some fabulous diaries about the experience!

The circus came to town today as we held our very own Coronation Carnival. The school was a sea of red, white and blue. The children had a brilliant time with Circus Allstars, Whitstable Whippy ice-creams, popcorn and those children having school dinners enjoyed a special coronation lunch including mini Victoria sponges for pudding!
Well done to Mrs Cutts for organising such a brilliant day, we hope the children enjoyed themselves. To view more pictures please click on the below link
