Jubilee Celebration Day 'Tea Party'

Jubilee Celebration Day  'Tea Party'

Dear Families of The Endowed,
Jubilee Celebration Day – 25th May 2022 - Information

This will be a non-uniform and we are inviting the children to come to school dressed in Red, White and Blue, or dress like Royalty, and to wear their ‘Royal Crowns’ reference our previous letter, 28th April. There will be Toys ‘n’ Trends prize vouchers for the best in each year group.  This is of course optional if your child does not want to dress up they may come in their own clothes.

School Meals
We will be swapping meals on Wednesday 25th/Thursday 26th to coincide with the celebrations:
Wednesday 25th: Bread rolls with
Tuna mayo, egg mayo, ham, vegetarian ham and grated cheese.
Salad and homemade coleslaw.
Jubilee Cake

Thursday 26th: Turkey or vege roll
Roast or boiled potatoes,
Seasonal vegetables and vegetarian gravy
Chocolate crispy

We would like to invite you to join us for a whole school ‘Jubilee Tea Party’ at 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm in the school playground as it will be lovely for you to share this time with them and the other children. Please bring a blanket and a small snack for you and your child; you are more than welcome to dress up too! If you are not able to attend please ensure that you send your child to school with a small snack i.e. biscuit/crisps/drink etc. Please do not bring/send in glass bottles or ANY items containing nuts or passion fruit due to severe allergies within the school. Thank you.

Take part in the PTFA fun jubilee jive, dancing and celebrating our amazing Queen. The PTFA will also be in the playground selling ice poles and popcorn during the afternoon, so please can you provide your child with some change to spend in a named purse or wallet which they will be responsible for.

If the weather is bad the ‘Jubilee Tea Party’ will be held in your child’s classroom.
I hope that you will be able to join us,

Yours sincerely,

Ellen Taylor
