Thank you to Harry, Kurt, Charlie L, Josh, Theo, Jonny, Leo, Noah and Max for an amazing football season.

Our boys B Team also had a fantastic 6-0 win against Bysing Wood. With Goals from Rowan (2), Sam (2), Charlie (1) and Oscar (1). The referee came to us after the match to say how well Hal captained the side - a great ambassador for the school. A huge well done to both teams. Mr H and Mr Baker

Lunar New Year!

Hummingbird Class watched a video on Tuesday and found out all about Chinese New Year and the Year of the Tiger.

Dahlia is half Chinese and spent most of her life living in China. She made some crafts with her mum to decorate their house and brought them in to show her classmates.

Inspired by 'The Garbage King'

Lewis in Flamingo has been really inspired by the book ‘The Garbage King’ by Elizabeth Laird, which the Upper School have been reading this term in English. He created this beautiful piece of writing:

As Dani lay, inches from sleep, he heard the crunching of leaves and the whistling wind slowly soar through his eager mind. Flooded with the continuous reminder of torture and pain from his ruthless, wretched, foul father running across his mind like a horse finally let free in a luscious green field.

The void of endless thick fog left his vision askew, with a sudden shock he saw a wretched disgusting beggar peer around the tomb wall. Dani stewed in the corner like a broken antique clock.
