    Football Update

    Girl’s Team

Herne Bay Juniors v Endowed 0-2

Brilliant football played by the Endowed Girls, a tough match from the beginning, but the girls dug deep! Two brilliant breakaway goals from defence to attack – in seconds first goal booted by Honey to Lily C who lifted the ball beautifully into the top right corner. Second strike taken early, Olivia F setting up the goal to Lily C who surprised the keeper as it flew past her into the bottom corner. Girls consistently applied pressure and were well organised. It was the first time any Endowed Girls team had beaten Herne Bay Juniors!

Well done to Abigail, Alana, Erin, Honey, Kirsten, Lily C, Lyla, Olivia F and Ruby W

    Boys ‘B’ Team

    Ethelbert v Endowed 5-0

Endowed ‘B’ team played to a very strong Ethelbert  ‘A’ team. They boys played very well, particularly strong play in the second half. Unfortunately, they were out played and final score 5-0 to Ethelbert. Joint man of the match Jake A and John A.

Well done to Connor E, Elliott, Finn HP, Finn G, Jake A, John A, Mason, Zane, and William.

Special thank you to all the Endowed supporters who braved the cold and cheered lots of encouragement!

    Remembrance Service

Our Lower School classes each made Poppy wreaths last week. Our RE Council and other children took the wreaths to the War Memorial on Friday 11th for the Remembrance Service. They were all very proud to represent our school, along with other local schools and businesses. Our school also observed a two minute silence at 11.ooam.

    Prayer of the week

    They shall not grow old,
As we that are left grow old,
    Age shall not weary them,
    Nor the years condemn,
At the going down of the sun,
    And in the morning,
    We shall remember them,
    Lest we forget.
