  • Malcolm Dixon Author Visit

    Fri 27 May 2022

Today, author Malcolm Dixon visited the school and the Magpies joined him for a special assembly and question and answer session.

His novel, titled The Little House on Everywhere is about the Redmayne family and their ability to live every day in three cities at once: London, Paris and New York. The three Redmayne children – George, Felice, and Emile – believe they know all about their extraordinary house and its many secrets but when they begin to investigate, disaster strikes: George and Felice accidentally misplace their younger brother in time, with the result that the entire family must unite to find him and bring him home.

Mr Dixon read to the children and answered some very interesting questions. Finally, each child composed a ‘wow’ sentence which they could use to write an opening to their own chapter of his story.

We were extremely proud of our Vision Ambassadors yesterday who gave a wonderful and insightful presentation to our School Governors at their monthly meeting. They introduced themselves with a video presentation by Noah Y and then proceeded to talk to the Governors about their vision, challenges they would like to meet and discussed lots of ideas of  how they can involve themselves  with community services. Thank you to Cleo who made some wonderful cakes for the meeting.  Please click the below link to view their PowerPoint presentation and home video.

    Endowed v Hernhill

On Tuesday, our netballers played another league match against the undefeated Hernhill team. Hernhill played very well and really made the Endowed netballers work hard. Some strong defense meant we restricted them to scoring just 1 goal. Our shooters also performed well scoring 12 goals, resulting in another impressive win for Team Endowed 12-1.

  • PTFA - Thank you!

    Fri 06 May 2022

    PTFA - Thank you!

We would like to say a big thank you to our fantastic PTFA for all of their time and support in fund raising for our school.

Already this year we have had several events including the ‘Rag Bag’ collections, the Children’s Christmas market and very successful Christmas raffle, plus our first post Covid cake/uniform sale.

The giant Chess set was purchased last term with funds raised and prizes for competitions are all bought by the PTFA and most recently the Easter eggs prizes for the Easter Photography/Art competition.

Our PTFA is in need of new parent/carer members. Six of our core members all have children in year five, so only one full academic year left from September before we say good bye to them. We are also looking for anyone willing to write a PTFA newsletter. Please email on The PTFA Chair Cheryl via Endowedptfa@whitstable-endowed.kent.sch.uk If you are interested in joining a fantastic team of parents and carers.
