    Inter-Schools Cross Country Tournament

    Herne Bay High School

A huge well done to our pupils who were selected to take part the Inter-Schools Cross Country Tournament. Six children from Upper school and four from Lower School represented The Endowed in a 1.5k race across boggy and difficult conditions.

Lower School: Ollie, Max C, Oscar A, Lily MS, Fleur and Sunnee

Upper School: George, Polly, Marcie, Finn B, Max and Oscar

They all did amazingly well in their relevant categories but stand out performances to Marcy who came 2nd, Finn B came 4th and Ollie B also coming 4th.

    Well done Team Endowed!!

  • Lynx Class Exhibition & Photos

    Fri 24 Jan 2020

    Lynx Class Exhibition

The children had a wonderful experience getting ready for their exhibition. Creating and baking cookies and biscuits the day before. Children were placed in groups to exhibit their own educational tables to show case their work. It was a very interactive exhibition with family members being challenged by the children with quizzes and games on school topics. Family members enjoyed demonstrations in speed stacking and gym moves and even had a go themselves! Some of the children showcased their music skills with Ayana, Flora and Edith playing the violin and Lily playing the piano.

Well done to all the children for making it a wonderful success and also to Mrs Perry and Mr Hadlow.

  • Virtual Reality Experience

    Fri 17 Jan 2020

    Virtual Reality Experience

The children experienced a step into virtual reality this week with an exciting VR workshop.

As a starting point for the Lower School Term 3  theme of Vikings, the VR experience brought to life what it was like living during Viking times. Tying in with the Upper School theme of Egyptians, the VR workshop will really help extend their knowledge of this early civilisation.

Thank you to our wonderful PTFA who fully funded this event.

  • NSPCC Speak Out, Stay Safe Assembly

    Mon 13 Jan 2020

NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe. Assembly

The children meet Buddy this week, who is the NSPCC friendly mascot. The NSPCC came to school to present an assembly to the children in our school as well as a workshop for Years 5/6.

They talked to the children about how to keep themselves safe from harm, how to get help if they have any worries and other sensitive issues in a child friendly language. The children will now be taking part in a sponsored Circuit Training for the NSPCC on Monday.

We hope they feel empowered and confident in how to ask for help for themselves or a friend if they should ever need to.
