Mon 24 Feb 2020St Alphege Sponsored Race 2020
Well done to Ms Butcher and Mr Leone who participated in the Run or Cycle
St Alphege Sponsored Race last Sunday.Ms Butcher ran and Mr Leone cycled the 7.8miles from St Alphege Church, to Canterbury Cathedral via the old Crab & Winkle line. In challenging conditions and up hill they both had an exhilarating race.
All funds raised by participates went to the mission and ministry of St Alphege Church.

WOW! What an amazing day the children had with Kalpesh Zalavadiya from K'z Dance Entertainment. The children experienced a day of learning Indian culture and festivals and dancing to a rigorous Bollywood dance routine where they learnt all the step and hand movements. It was a fabulous days full of Love, learning and laughter.

A huge congratulations to the brilliant Boys A Football Team who are 2019/20 League Champions! They have played some fantastic matches this season and showed great teamwork so a well deserved win.
Also well done to our B Team and Girls Football Team who have had a great season and played some great matches. Go Team Endowed!

ECO Division have been at it again!
Well done to Miss Braid and her ECO warriors who had their first external letter pick this week. They filled a whole sack of rubbish from the alley just outside just outside school.
PTFA Cake Sale
Thank you to Year 4 for all their cake donations, which raised a whopping £90.80 at the Cake sale for the PTFA school funds.
Next PTFA meeting is Wednesday 26 February 2pm all welcome!

Sports Relief
Non-uniform 13 March
We will be holding a 'Endowed Strictly Come Dancing Competition'. Children can audition on Friday 6 March at lunchtime in the Hall for a place in the Performance which will take place on Friday 13 March. Children are invited to dress as their favourite sports hero - this is optional for a donation of £1 for Sports Relief.

Disco Diva's!

A big thank you to the PTFA for all their hard work at the school Disco on Thursday. The children all had a lovely time and enjoyed all the treats and face painting.
A special 'thank you' shout out to DJ Leone who rocked those tunes! Thank you to the staff who stayed to help.

Fri 07 Feb 2020Agents of Change - ECO Division
Miss Braid welcomed Chris Cornell, a local councillor, who came in to speak to them about his job. They had a very informative meeting and he discussed with the children if they had any ECO ideas to take back to the Council.
In addition, after a letter from the ECO Division, he brought some litter equipment for them to keep! Thank you!

Children's Mental Health Week
'Find your Brave'As it has been Children's Mental Health Week we have all been thinking about their theme of 'Find your Brave'. Each of the children were given a start to write about a time when they felt they have been brave or to think abut how we can show bravery in many different ways and what helps us. Below are some of the lovely stars the children have created.
Safer Internet Day
Our school celebrated Safer Internet Day on Friday 7 February, a few days early because of other events we have next week.
We had a special assembly where we learnt about this year's theme 'Together for a better internet' and Mr Leone talked about our identity on the Internet, being careful what information we share and how protect ourselves.
Attendance
Well done to Hedgehog Class who achieved 100% attendance last week. Last week overall the school achieved 97.9%.
