The Day The Crayons Came Home!

We have loved seeing all the children in class today come in wearing their different class colours for our special 'The Day The Crayons Quit' day organised by Mrs Blinston Jones, to tie in with the children's English work.

A big thank you to one of parents Mr Fisk for helping us create an amazing whole school (socially distanced) aerial rainbow photo.

Eve & Clara (Tulip Class) who both being concerned about climate change, created a PowerPoint presentation with lots of information and presented it to the class. It also included a section entitled 'What can kids do to help? The part worked seamlessly together to raise this very important issue with their classmates, taking questions and making suggestions. I was super impressed with them both. To view their presentation, please click on the below link.

  • Red Nose Day fun and games!

Red Nose Day fun and games!

The school has been a sea of red today with everybody wearing something red for Comic Relief and Red Nose Day! We raised £152, so thank you for your donations and well done everyone.

Lots of staff took part in the Red Nose and Spoon Challenge around school. They had to carry it with them everywhere they went and had to do a forfeit if they forgot. After lunch there was a Nose and Spoon race - well done to Mrs Blinston Jones of Poppy Class who easily won the race!

    Well done Team Endowed!

2nd in the Virtual Sportshall Athletics Tournament

In November, three classes from the Upper School entered the Virutal Sportshall Athletics Tournament. The three groups represented the school in long jump, high jump, chest push, sprinting and speed bounce.

We are delighted to announce that our team finished in 2nd place against all the other schools in the area. They should be very proud of their efforts and have won a wonderful trophy for us to proudly display in school. Well done Team Endowed.

  • Garden of Hope

    Wed 17 Mar 2021

    Wellbeing 'Garden of Hope'

Last Friday Nathan in Tulip Class and I took delivery of a new Arbour, bamboo, jasmine and lavender plants to make a start on a new wellbeing 'Garden of Hope' in the school playground. This was because of an idea Nathan had to create a peaceful, reflective space in the playground where children could enjoy quiet time by themselves or with a friend. We look forward to showing you more photos as the 'Garden of Hope' develops.

    Bluebell - Circus

    Dahlia - Hot Air Balloon

Sunflower - Elven Wood from Lord of the Rings

    Tulip - Jungle

  • Rescheduled World Book Day

    Mon 01 Mar 2021

    World Book Day

    Rescheduled for Thursday 1st April

It will be World Book Day on Thursday 4th March - but as we will not all be in school together on this day, we have decided to put it on hold until we are!

Our Endowed Rescheduled World Book Day celebrations will instead be taking place on the last day of Term 4,

    Thursday 1st April

This means the whole school will be able to dress up and join in the celebrations together. So do please put a note in your diary - and get thinking of costumes of your favourite book characters whilst you still have lots of time to get your outfits ready!

A letter with more information will be sent out soon.

    Mrs Blinston Jones, English Lead
