    HeartSmart

At The Endowed we want everyone to know that they are loved, cared for and valued. We are joining a creative new approach to building character, emotional health and resilience called HeartSmart.

Boris the robot visited our school on Friday with his friend Pete. Boris is made from bits and bobs of recycled rubbish, he plays an important role in HeartSmart. In school we are going to be following Boris' story of learning not to listen to the scrapman's voice (who tells Boris that he belongs on the scrapheap) and learning to be smart with our hearts instead.

Could you build a robot like Boris? If so, your robot should be made from recycled materials and be no more than 1m tall. Be as creative as you like! Entries will close on Friday 3 May. House points will be awarded for all entries. We can't wait to see you robots!

    Easter Service and Gardens

On Thursday, the children of The Endowed and St Alphege Infant school held a joint Easter Service at St Alphege Church. It was a lovely service with 'Thank You' Prayers by St Alphege pupils, a special 'King of Kings' - a song to learn by Mrs Legg, Bible Readings by Will and Ryan and Miss Braid and her choir singing in perfect harmony 'A Brighter Day Tomorrow'.

Thank you to all the amazing entries for the Easter Garden Competition. Mrs Gilbert who judges the gardens is always amazed by the effort, creativity and imagination the children put into the designs. Everyone had the opportunity to see the gardens as they were on display in the church during the Easter Service.

    Morpurgo Class Exhibition photos

Thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to support Morpurgo Class Exhibition. They kicked things off with a Bon Jovi song, the audience enjoyed a drama performance, sports, quizzes, dances and the children showcased their favorite work. We hope you all enjoyed learning more about the children's talents and seeing some of their work.
