  Red Nose Day!

  We have had lots of Red Nose Day fun in school today. The whole school took part in a Wake up and Shake up dance in the playground this morning. The children also enjoyed red nose day biscuits at lunchtime and took part in the 'Stop, Drop and Dance' 30 second dance sessions throughout the day.

  Easter Garden Competition

  The Easter Garden competition is a much loved Endowed tradition and we love seeing all of your wonderful entries. In previous years we have seen some amazing creations and we are sure the children will do the same this year!

   

  Gardens can be 3D models, or 2D work that can be emailed to sgilbert@whitstable- Endowed.kent.sch.uk  All entries due in by Monday 27 March.

   

  Art Club

  This term with Mrs Braid and Miss Chapman, Lower School Art Club have been getting creative; designing their own clay pots and then having lots of fun decorating them.

  Easter Craft Visitors!

  We were delighted to welcome some visitors from St Alphege Infant School this week, the children came along to take part in some Easter fun Activities organised by Mrs Blinston-Jones. Well done to our  Year 6 helpers who did a fantastic job assisting all of the children with making some cute handprint bunnies and other crafts!

   

  Sign Language Lesson

  Some of our classes took part in a special online Sign Language lesson on Wednesday as part of The British Deaf Association Sign Language Week. Mrs Polo in Grasshoppers Class is qualified in BSL and so was our expert in school.

  Team Endowed Results

   

  Girls Football Team

  The Endowed Reds played a brilliant match against Luddenham last Friday, winning
  4-0. Goals came from Isla S, Isla C and Freya scored 2. Well played Reds, keep it up!

   

  Year 5 Boys Football Team

  Our Year 5 boys put in a brave and spirited performance against a strong Hernhill team, but ultimately lost 7-0. Well done boys for your efforts, especially in the terrible cold and wet conditions!

  Endowed World Book Day

  We had a fantastic World Book Day and loved seeing all of your amazing animal print clothes, face-painting and the amazing creative costumes some of you made!

   

  The Year 6 children read with the Year 3 children, which was lovely. Unfortunately, we were let down by the dance workshop who were due in but well done to Mrs Blinston-Jones and the amazing Year 6 children who helped us organise our own dance workshops for everyone - who needs professionals! Thank you to all of the families who joined us for the afternoon picnic. We hope you all had a lovely time.
