Harvest Festival
Mon 31 Oct 2016Harvest Festival
It was lovely to welcome so many parents and carers to the Harvest Festival at St Alphege Church. It was led by the upper school and we learnt more about our Fruit of the Spirit values and enjoyed singing from the choir.
Lots of beautiful Harvest themed artwork could be seen and the children gave out lovely decorated quotes to family and friends. Well done to the upper school teachers and children for a great service.
Thank you for all the wonderful donations of food and money you sent in for the local Food Bank. The money collection in church and sent into school raised a total of £119.71.

Thank you! Macmillan Coffee Morning
Wed 05 Oct 2016Macmillan Coffee Morning
Thank you to all the parents and carers who came along to support the PTFA organised Macmillan Coffee morning. Also, a big thank you to the Year 3 children for providing the lovely cakes – we had some very generous donations and raised a fantastic £256.42.
Well done to Mrs Laker who won the ‘Guess how many spots on the cake’ competition. The remaining cakes were sold after school to raise funds for the PTFA and another £50 was raised then, so thank you very much.
PTFA – next meeting on Friday 14 October at 9.00am all parents and carers welcome.
