Thu 22 Oct 2020Our Virtual Tour
Welcome to The EndowedLights, Camera, Action! We are delighted to be able to share with you our Virtual School Tour, created by our own Mr Leone: starring children, staff and some of our parents and carers.
We are very proud of our Outstanding school and we hope you will agree the tour manages to showcase the vibrant and welcoming environment of 'The Endowed' where we bring learning to life.
We hope you enjoy it and would love to share it with any Year 2 parents you know who are looking for a Year 3 school place. Please click on the below link:

This Weeks Round-Up
Fri 16 Oct 2020Black History Month
Inspired by the work of Stormzy, Banksy & the BLM movement
Upper school: On Thursday in class, we really focused our learning for Black History month. We started off the morning by discussing equality and what racism is. To read more and to view some of the children's inspiration through art, please click on either Sunflower, Tulip or Poppy class pages.
Coming Soon! Our Virtual School Tour
Please keep an eye on our home page and admissions page next week.
Sadly we have not been able to hold any open days this year, so our tour for prospective new Year 2 children is a virtual one.
A big thank you to Mr Leone for all his time and hard work in producing it and also thank you to all our pupils, staff and parents who worked together to create this video - we really appreciate the time and effort everybody gave towards this.
Sunflower Superhero
Well done Connor in Sunflower Class who was very brave during an incident at the weekend. Whilst out walking his little cousin fell into a pond at Duncan Downs and began to sink into the thick mud until she was stuck.
Heroic Connor's immediate reaction was to grab her, stopping her from going under. His Mum got helped and then they managed to free her. Connor then helped her further by taking off her wet coat and give her his own. He did all of this without any prompting from an adult and his family and the school are very proud, well done Connor.

Dyslexia Week
Thu 08 Oct 2020Dyslexia Week
From the 5-11 October it is Dyslexia week and there is lots of useful information available on the ritish Dyslexia Association website.
#Dyslexia Creates
We will be putting aside 5-11 October to explore #DyslexiaCreates – looking at the power of dyslexia to create ideas, organisations and society and the invaluable contribution this makes to the UK. We recognise, however, that dyslexia also creates challenges and barriers so this theme will enable us to raise awareness of these and explore best practice in dyslexia support that empowers individuals to achieve their potential.
