    PTFA: Shop till you Drop!

Thank you to the PTFA for organising a fantastic Christmas shop for the children. All of the PTFA elves had worked hard to create a winter wonderland in the hall and the children had a wonderful time browsing all the different stalls and buying surprise presents for their family and friends.

The PTFA also held the popular Chocolate Tombola and winners were drawn for the Raffle.

    Carol Concert

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Carol Concert on Tuesday night. It was a lovely, festive service.

We were treated to some beautiful singing from Miss Braid's choir who sounded lovely so well done to all of you. A huge well done also to Polly, Bella, Martha, Alice and Ollie who had been practicing as a band for months and performed a fantastic version of Last Christmas.

    Lion's ROAR Regional Finals

Our school champions Sonny C, James C, and Arwen in Arctic Fox class were very excited to travel to the stunning venue of Wakehurst Place, Sussex to take part in the South East Lions ROAR regional finals to present their entrepreneurial creation ODS (Oxygen Diving Suit).

They put in lots of extra work and research since becoming the school finalists and met an ex-parent Mr Clark who is a diving expert. They were up against 30 other schools and did an amazing job with their presentation; memorising all of their words. Although they didn't come away with a prize we are incredibly proud of them for a fantastic job and for all the work and effort.

A HUGE thank you also to Sarah from The Monument for donating all of the mulled wine, mince pies and equipment for the refreshments during the play performers. An incredibly generous gesture for the PTFA and the school and we are very greatful.
