Weekly Round-Up
Fri 05 Feb 2021Wellbeing
Express Yourself
Thank you to everyone who took part in all the Children’s Mental Health Week activities this week, which you shared with us.
On Friday we invited you to Express Yourself with how you dress via creative costumes, colour, hair styles, accessories etc. Some people chose to express themselves by wearing the clothes they feel most comfortable in, others used their imagination to create characters, and some of you wore bright colours to lift your mood. How lovely you were able to express your feelings through what you wore! See the website and your Teams pages for lots of photos.
Born to Run!
A huge well done to Connie in Tulip class who has taken up running and received a medal from Ms Butcher after sending this message:
'On the 5th of Jan 2021, I decided to challenge myself and to try and run 5km. I did 18 training runs until I was finally ready, and on 2-2-2021 I completed my challenge and ran 5.37 km in 41.16 minutes. In all, I have run a total of 46.44km since I started. It was hard work, but I am very proud of myself and I feel stronger’.
