Nifty Netball!
Fri 18 May 2018Nifty Netball!
As the league draws to an end the Endowed played three matches this week. The A team maintained their superb form cruising to another outstanding win 18-0 against Ethelbert Road. Star Player Kirsten.
A team: Olivia F (Cap), Drew A, Lyla A, Zane, Lily C, Kirsten, John A
It was then the turn of some of the other squad players - mainly year 5s - to play Ethelbert Road. It was a very exciting end to end games. Some super midcourt play and fin shooting, especially an amazing goal scored by Sophie (y6), saw our B squad players come away with an impressive 6-3 victory. Star player Max.
The last game of the week was away to Hernhill, a B team fixture, which we knew would be very tough. And so it proved. A very physical team put our B players under constant pressure and although they played really well and held their own for 3 quarters, the opposition pulled away in the last. The result a 10-4 loss. Star player Ruby.
Only one match left until we know the final league places. Watch this space.

The A & B team went to Ospringe Juniors for our latest league games. The B team continued their form winning 8-1. Some lovely passages of play particularly around the D. Well done to Will & Ellie who have both ended their personal goal droughts. Star players our year 5 girls, Ruby C & Lily C.
B Team: Lily B (Cap), Will, Jack, Ellie H, Isla, Aiofe, Lily C (Y5) and Ruby (Y5)
The A team continue their scintillating form with an impressive 20-0 victory. A real team performance with great attack play backed up by impressive defence. This match bringing their goals tally so far this season to 65-5. Star player Lyla.
A big thank you to all our supporters - great cheering from the sidelines. Next match away to Luddenham.
A Team: Olivia F (Cap), Lyla, Drew, John, Lily C, Kirsten and Zane

May Day Celebrations
Thu 03 May 2018May Day Celebrations
We welcomed DEAD HORSE MORRIS dancers to school on Tuesday to celebrate May Day. Luckily the sun was shining and the children enjoyed watching the dancing outside. They even got our student teachers up dancing at the end!
Don't forget there are lots of May Day celebrations taking place at Whitstable Castle on Bank Holiday Monday.
