    Wake Up Shake Up! Competition

    Wednesday 26 January

Well done to our team of 15 Year 3 children who competed in the WAKE UP SHAKE UP Competition hosted by the Sports Partnership at Herne Bay High School Arena today. There were 10 teams from different schools taking part and our children made me very proud with their behaviour and how they represented The Endowed.

They performed their routine the best they have ever done it and we were very proud to come 4th, missing our on 3rd by just 1 point!

They were competing against Year 5 and 6 children, so this makes it even more amazing how well they did getting their 4th place. We are so very proud of you all.

    Exciting 'Outstanding' News!

    Dear Parents and Carers,

I’m very proud to share with you our Ofsted report and I’m delighted to let you know that we continue to be an ‘Outstanding’ school.

As it says in the Ofsted report ‘Pupils flourish at this friendly school. The education they receive is top notch. Leaders’ vision for all pupils and staff to ‘let their light shine’ is lived out by all.’

I am so incredibly proud of all our staff for this achievement, which is a reflection of all their hard work and dedication and of our amazing children who overwhelmed the Inspector with their behaviour, enthusiasm and motivation. The children absolutely shone and we will plan a day of celebration in school.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who completed feedback to Ofsted. I have attached the report for you to read at your leisure and Ofsted will publish on their website in about 8 days. I am incredibly proud of what our school has achieved; we are a rare commodity in that only 17% of Outstanding school retain their grade.

    Ellen Taylor

    Headteacher

  • Wizard Stories - interactive storytelling

    Mon 09 Jan 2023
    Wizard Stories
On Monday 9 January, we were delighted to have Wizard Stories come into our school to work with our children and others from various CACOT schools. The very talented Gary and Phil engaged with the children using their unique interactive storytelling skills – creating a performance that was fun and full of imagination. They encouraged the children to formulate their ideas and strategies on how to express themselves through writing. The children had great fun and we hope that this will inspire them.

    Football News!

Our boys’ team went to Boughton on Thursday for their penultimate game of the league campaign and despite a family of moles taking up residence in the middle of the pitch, making passing rather treacherous, they came away with a convincing 6-1 win. Goals came from Josh (3) and Charlie (2)and Harry. Well played everyone.
