The children have enjoyed lots of exciting experiments, talks and activities today. A Science Workshop from Eureka Seekers, Boats & Floats, Scratch safety design and a fire safety talk from Kent Fire and Rescue. Each class rotated around the school to experience the different STEM activities. Lots more super science tomorrow....

MINECRAFT Inter-House Competition

Mr Baker has organised a INTER-HOUSE MINECRAFT COMPETITION.
We would like the children to create their own 'State of Art' Tree House using Minecraft, being as creative as possible, so long as it is a 'Virtual Tree'.
- Deadline Friday 11th June
- Participants can either print off their creations at home and bring in or email to their teacher
- All pieces of work need to have the child's name, class and house name on it
- Every entry will receive a House Point and a secret panel of Minecraft experts will judge the overall House standings.

Sunflower Science Club

Over the past four weeks, many of the Sunflower Class Pupils have enjoyed Miss Jamieson's Science Club on Tuesdays after school. Miss Jamieson created some marvellous practical experiments the pupils to try out, including swimming raisins, hot air ballons and magical moving cans. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the club and we are very grateful to our student teacher, Miss Jamison for organising this club.

TTROCKSTARS DAY!
Fri 07 May 2021Maths ROCKSTARS DAY!
Thank you so much to all of our amazing rockstars from Friday who dressed up in some brilliant costumes to celebrate Times Tables and Maths across the whole school!
By taking part throughout Friday, our pupils helped towards TTRockstars' donation to the NSPCC as well for their NSPCC Rocks! Day.
The grand final really demonstrated how brilliant and dedicated some of our mathematicians are in school and it was a closely fought contest! There were prizes for the top three in Upper and Lower School and a 'Best-Dressed' contest as well. All of the finalists earned 10 house points for their houses too! Well done to everyone who took part in this great celebration of X Tables and Maths at The Endowed.

Thank you so much to our families who have sent in pictures of your completed Internet Legends. Here is a small selection from the Upper and Lower School. The models look fantastic and we have had some excellent feedback from parents regarding the online game that was included with the packs. We hope this has helped all of our children to be safer and more prepared when communicating online! Mr Leone
